The G.S.B. Sabha, Mumbai, successfully hosted its eagerly anticipated annual event, Sneh Milan, uniting the G.S.B. community in Mumbai to honor the rich heritage of the 90-year-old Sabha and recognize outstanding individuals within the community.
Held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Pracharya B.N. Vaidya Sabhagraha in Dadar, Mumbai, the program welcomed esteemed Chief Guests, Dr. Chandrika Dinesh Kudva, a Pathologist and founder of Gurukrupa Clinic and Gurukrupa ENT and Diagnostic Centre in Worli, and Dr. Srinivas Kudva, an Interventional Cardiologist associated with renowned hospitals in Mumbai.
The evening commenced with a captivating musical performance by renowned vocalist Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak, accompanied by talented musicians from the G.S.B. community. The audience was treated to soulful Bhakti renditions and interactive sessions.
Following a brief intermission, the award ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Smt. Amita Kini, President of the G.S.B. Mahila Shakha, who highlighted the organization’s various initiatives.
The prestigious Shri K.M. Kamath Memorial GSB Sharada Sanman Puraskar was bestowed upon Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak in recognition of his contributions to devotional and Carnatic classical music. Nayak expressed heartfelt gratitude and emphasized the significance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations.

Attendees enjoyed a traditional Konkani dinner and participated in a lucky draw, adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening.
