Shri K.M. Kamath Memorial GSB Sharada Sanman Puraskar
On a suggestion and initial donation made by Shri K. M. Kamath, the Sabha added one more feather to its cap by instituting the G.S.B. Talent Recognition Award to honour personalities from our Community who have excelled in fields of performing arts, fine arts and literature. The first felicitations were made during Gudi Padva Sneh Milan 2006.

Shri. Puttur Narasimha Nayak
He is the first Kannada singer who has composed more that 12000 different kinds of songs in 14 languages and legendary singers like SP Balasubramaniam, Anuradha Paudwal, Anup Jalota , Suresh Wadkar , Venkatesh Kumar, C Ashwath, Jayateerth Mevundi, Vani Jayaram have sang his compositions. He has sung more than 300 Bhavagitas, given background score for more than 40 movies. He has won various Awards, to name a few, Konkani Sahitya Academy (1998), Rajostav Award (2005), Karnataka Music and Dance Academy Lifetime Achievement Award (2006) and many more.

Smt. Vatsala Shenoy Memorial GSB Mahila Udhyamee Puraskar
To celebrate and recognise the role played by women in the economic growth of the nation, the Sabha instituted the “Vatsala R. Shenoy Memorial G.S.B. Woman Entrepreneur Award” in 2014. Smt. Vatsala Shenoy was Mahila Shakha President and Sabha Vice President for several years. The founder sponsor of this award are her daughter-in-law and son, Smt. Sadhana and Shri Sunil Shenoy.

Smt. Latha Kini
Smt. Latha Kini, a successful woman entrepreneur from Mangalore is the Managing Partner of Bell Paints, Automobile Paint Manufacturing Industry in Baikampady, Mangalore. It was started by Mrs. Kini in the year 1995. Mrs. Kini has the unique distinction of being elected the First Woman President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mangalore in the year 2011-12. And also has been honoured with the “Best woman entrepreneur” in the state by the Karnataka Government in 1993.

The Dr. B. M. Acharya Memorial GSB Lifetime Achievement Award was instituted by the Sabha in 2020 to recognise the contributions of inspirational persons of our own GSB community who have achieved great heights in the fields of Arts, Politics, Education, Literature, Business, Financial Sector, Corporate, Media, Sports. This award is sponsored by the family of Late Dr. B. M. Acharya.
